    Self Portrait

    well I rolled out of bed this morning and got the wild hair to try a little self portrait action.
    Here is my favorite.

    the more I looked at this the softer it got. I went back and retouched it. let me know what ya'll think.

    your second edit is much better. be careful with skin smoothing and stuff like that, at some point, too much will make people look plastic-y

    did you have someone else take it or did you set a timer on a tripod or something?

    since we can't see your hand anyways, I'd almost say crop a little off the right side to get rid of that door jam, and maybe a little off the bottom to keep the aspect ratio intact.

    edit- on second thought, maybe don't crop it more, otherwise it will look odd with your arm up and not seeing that you're leaning on something.

    I went back a third time and tried again. It has been cropped twice already to get that close up shot. I took this on a tripod I picked up on thanks giving eve. Its a cheap sunpack 5200 $10 at walmart on sale. It will work until I find the money for a good one.
