    Spring Chorus

Early in the spring I headed out to a local park to photograph ducks in breeding plumage, only to find the ponds full of frogs, all calling and looking for a mate. This is a Wood Frog, usually one of the first to wake up, these were in a pond still partly covered in ice:

In the same pond were many Boreal Chorus Frogs:

A bit later in the year, while fishing at a lagoon by Lake Winnipeg, another frog species showed itself en masse, the Northern Leopard Frog:

Tell me what you guys think.
And once again, thanks for creating a reptile-amphibian-fish section!

Ah. I guess I must have accidentally chosen the wrong size.
