    Lowepro

I have out grown my nikon bag I got last year. So now I'm thinking about getting a lowepro slingshot 202aw. I checked it out at bestbuy and I like it.

if it works for you then that's the main thing, I prefer backpack bags more than the slings personally, but its just mainly a personal preference thing I know other guys who love slings and don't really like backpacks.

I've got a lowepro backpack, 2 lowepro shoulder bags, a kata large bag, a hard pelican case, a kinesis long lens bag, and they're all good quality and well made bags, they each have a different use and purpose though.

Ok swell. These were quality check threads anyways. I just wanted to be sure that I was getting a good product before I purchased it

yeah, lowepro is a good made bag, they can be kindof pricey considering its just a bag, but most good quality pieces will be, my kata/kenisis/pelican cases were all fairly pricey as well.

My girlfriend said to me last night if your buying a bag to put $2000 in it I think $100 isn't to bad. Lol I agree. I'm watching a couple used on ebay. Half price still like new.

I went into best buy (the only camera related store around here) the other day to look at backpacks the girl that works there also does photography for a hobby and recommended the sling style. She grabbed up a golla sling bag and put it on to show me the advantages. Nice to be able to swing it around and get to your gear. Very handy. It fits nice on my back and with the cross strap it's very stable. I'm most likely buying a lowepro slingshot 202aw. But the 102aw is also a nice bag. Its about 2/3 the size of the 202 and would be excellent for a daily bag. Holds 2-3 extra lenses.

yeah, like I said, its mostly a personal preference, I just don't like the slings much, they don't hold too much, aren't comfortable, and really aren't that much more convenient to me. but you need to get what you are comfortable with. did you try them on in store and see what worked best for you?

I have my d90 and the 70-300 @300mm and my 35 f 1.4, 18-55mm, 70-300 super macro. Plenty of room for more also.
