So I belong to my local Astronomical Society, and I have access to use our club's private observatory which includes a nice 8" refractor scope, an even nicer 16" reflector, and a huge 32" reflector. I'm hoping to be able to get some time this observing season to reserve it and try some astrophotography on the bigger scopes, should be fun! I've been a member for a few years and only tried to shoot with the refractor, but for those unfamiliar with astronomy, the larger the telescope, the more light it collects and the better things can be seen.

here's a shot of the observatory (not my image, ok to share as a club member though):

Besides wildlife, astrophotography is one of my favorite genres of photography.
