    Warblers

Hard birds to photograph, as they are quite fast and fidgety. Warblers are a pretty common group of birds, most are adapted to picking insects from foliage. Some flycatch, some walk on the ground.

This is a Magnolia Warbler - genus Dendrioca, mostly foliage pickers ImageUploadedByTapatalk1400436088.513181.jpg

American Redstart, works foliage, flicks wings to scare insects out of hiding, then flycatches to get them

Canada Warbler, very distinctive with it's necklace pattern. This was a first for me.

Black-and-white Warbler, this species has a nuthatch-like way of searching for food, it is one of the only warblers to search for food by climbing on the tree trunk

Yellow Warbler, probably familiar to most people. Very common species.

A Blackburnian Warbler, a species of the coniferous forest. As much as I would have like to get a photo of a male (which is one of the most stunning warbler species), there weren't any present.

    Warblers

A Palm Warbler, unlike the other Dendroica warblers I posted, this species has a tendency to hop on the ground looking for food.

A Blackpoll Warbler, a northern species native to the taiga passing through at this time.

A Yellow-rumpled Warbler, there were dozens upon dozens of them around the pond flycatching, along with a small number of other warblers.

a Common Yellowthroat, which is a warbler that frequents marshes.

    A Wilson's Warbler, a first for me:

Thanks. Although the yellow is by far the most common species in the summer, have a hard time getting photos.

these little guys are super hard to shoot normally, and fast, so tracking them can be a chore.
