    Recommend my next lens.

Hi everyone, I just bought a nikon D600 (full frame) body.
    I currently have a Sigma 35mm F1.4 Art, and a nikkor 70-300 F4.0-5.6.
I would like to purchase another lens to add to the collection.
I can't decide if I want a wider lens, or maybe a more practical zoom at this point.
I shoot a ton of landscape and storms.
I'm into a lot of different photography.
My new focus is learning to shoot people and event's if you had to recommend a lens or lens to chose from what would you choose?

I'm not opposed to 3rd party lens suggestions either.

you've got decent tele and mild wide. when the d600 comes see what you're liking on it and what you are missing, the 35 will have a wider angle on the full frame than the dx you're used to, so you may not need/want anything wider, if you're shooting people, a good short tele fast prime wouldn't be bad. something in the 50-100 range. the 70-300 is okay for what it is and it's price, but its slow, and not the greatest for people.

Yea. This is all what I was thinking. I like the 35mm, but your right about seeing what it looks like on fullframe.
Just seeing what other suggestions are out there.

really right now you don't have anything wide angle, so the 35 might be right up your alley on the FX sensor. the 35 acts more like a normal angle lens on a crop sensor...if you lived closer I'd say just come test some lenses out lol...

its a great place for photography, tons of state and national parks, dark skies, mountains, gross salt lake, good amount of bird migration.
