    Well things are turning green around here, all of my American kestrels have been replaced by mourning doves.
    Though as I'm typing this I think I may have just saw an A.K.
    Where's my 150-600mm vc? Lol

    its at the store hahah...yeah we got a freak snowstorm the last 2 days, was up in the high 60's for the past several weeks. but the migration time is upon us.

    a few inches, nothing super severe, but very strange given this time of year and the past month of very warm weather.

    well there isn't massive amounts of birds or anything yet, I think the screwy weather has them confused. I did see a couple roughlegged hawks on my way to work yesterday though.

    And the snow is all gone already and supposed to get close to 70 Saturday. I love how everyone acted like we never get snow in April. And how they all act like they are from California and can't drive in mostly slush

    yeah totally, I am from california and I didn't have any problems, it wasn't really bad driving or anything, it was just odd to go from high 60's to high 20's and back to mid 50's in 3 days.

    well we got like 4" or so of snow on the ground, it lasted all of about 20 hours and its gone and back in the 70's lol..

    I gotta get out and look for some birds again. I like your kestrel shots.
