    Illinois White tails

I snatched up Nicks 70-200 VR1 and headed to homer lake, a place that I know there will be deer at dusk. Also I know right where to sit so that they will walk right in front of me. well this is what I caught tonight.

yeah, I'm really liking #2 best of the group, its hard to do wildlife with only 200mm, but the tall reeds and the dark trees give a good background to the shot, and the doe is in good focus.

Do like the buck. Good job getting the antlers, i always have issues with not being able to see them due to the baclgroumd being the same color.

I like #1 and #2 as well. Deer are very interesting to watch.

I need to get you some pics of deer right from my parents front yard lol my mom has lots. They are mule deer tho not your eastern dog with antlers looking thing lol. We snuck right up on a moose with a sow when we was looking for deer once. That gotna little scary. I was almost close enough to touch her and she just stood there. Must a been the camo
