    Some deer

Had about a foot or so of snow in the last few days, so i went out in the woods today and realized....I can not come close to keeping up with the deer in snowy woods.

Thanks. I've been out with this group of deer plenty of times before but today was the forst time with my first DSLR camera. Can't wait until spring though.

yeah I'm diggin' the one shot through the trees, you got good focus on him, that was probably hard through the brush/woods.

Thanks, it was a little difficult. So many dead branches out there.

The last year or so I've been on the look out for any antlers that were shed but none yet.

I'll have to see if I can dig up my photo from 2 years ago of a decent sized buck I had a stare down with at about ~30 yards.

Not sure if its my tablet or tapatalk but the photos seem like they were compressed.

could be tapatalk, we've had issues with them in the past, in fact I need to do an update on our side of things with it too which should be completed in the next few days.

What did you use to take these shots?

    Nikon D5200 w/ 55-300mm

Yeah, I noticed tapatalk updates all the time too . I got the paid version awhile back and that's not even the current updated one anymore. Beats navigating the Internet anyday though

yeah, I've got that one too. but we also have to do updates on the forum side of things which gets annoying so we're behind a little bit on that too.

nice, my wife has the 55-300 and its a surprisingly great lens.

Nice shots! In that second photo the rear legs look kinda funny.
I also like to go out stalking deer. I think I posted up a thread of my recent photos.

Those newer APS-C cameras are really something, my friend got a D3200 and the AF on it is better than my D600. Thanks nikon. 😠
