    The Palawan flowerpecker (Prionochilus plateni) is a species of bird in the Dicaeidae family. It is endemic to the Philippines.

    Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.

    The scientific name commemorates the German zoologist Carl Constantin Platen.

    Hi Dolina,
    I'm new to this forum. These are amazing shots especially with the higher ISOs for some birds u posted. You have a gift of getting the birds in the correct attitude and taken at the split second they are in that position. Bird photos are one of the hardest to shoot given the varied lighting and limited angles.

    Love the way you give the birder descriptions & camera settings. As a fellow birder, I really appreciate it. Makes reading your posts a joy.
    What system are u using?

    U must spend a lot of time outdoors.
