yeah I found an Otus 85mm f1.4 that was at an insanely good price (well for what it is, it was still pretty expensive, but they hold their value pretty well, so I could turn around and sell it and make a profit if I really needed to)...

there's only 3 lenses you want? hehe wish I had that problem.

the 85 1.8G is a great lens for the money, actually in a lot of respects its better than the nikon 1.4G. the Otus beats them all though, but at a price.

Yea. I'm not to that point yet. I want all the lenses but I have three at the top that I can afford.
    The 85mm and a 70-200 and the 150-600mm

that would make a sweet set. I've been lucky enough to piece together a setup that does really well for me, and saving a lot by going with used lenses and such for the most part.

Went out to the desert today. Forgot my camera but I did do some shooting lol.

I drove past an orchard that looked like the sprinklers had been on overnight and everything was frozen, that could a made for some cool shots, damn I missed it

That's a bummer, I'm learning that not everything needs to be photographed. Sometimes it's best just to take in beauty rather than try to capture in.
