    Intruder

So I caught this guy sneaking out from between the weatherstripping on my trunk when I got home from work this morning, luckily I had my 200 micro with me, but I had to light it with the pop up flash, so I don't like the harsh direct lighting on him, but hey, I'll take what I can get.

TruNk...it wasn't on my truck, it was actually in my little commuter car. I found a little beginning of a nest in there too, really strange because I drive it daily, like 6-700 miles a week.

real macro is really fun, but yeah it takes some dedicated equipment for it so it can be an bit of a cost. though macro lenses are the bees knees for product photography too.

I love macro shots and if I ever get my own stuff that'll be one of the first lenses I get.

Macro lenses are cool, they're typically some of the top performing lenses in their focal range. they're not always the fastest, or fastest focusing, but they're extremely well corrected, and can focus extremely close. I know people who use them for portraiture and landscapes, but they wouldn't be great for sports or wildlife.
