    Tamron 150-600mm VC

So I bought the new tamron 150-600mm vc from www.bhphotovideo.com the other day, 20 days later it's
Time to write a little about it.

First I'm overly impressed with the lack of CA @F8 from this budget super zoom.
There's is little to no need for post CA removal at just 1 stop above wide open.

The focus is fast and has little trouble finding reasonably small dark subjects. (on my D600)
The lens also has a switch on the side to switch the focus from full range to 15m-infinity. This assists in focusing on moving objects at a distance greater than 15 meters away.

The buzz about the Vibration compensation is a bit negative in comparison with my experience with this lens. I can shoot @600mm with a shutter speed of 1/100 hand held, and get little to no shake blur in my images. That is a very respectable number in my book.

Also for a lens that costs under $1100 new, it's performance had been pleasantly unexpected.

Overall I give this lens a 9 in my book and highly recommend it for any hobby wildlife photogs.

More review and photos to come.

Nice shots! I like the rabbit, too bad Josh isn't around much, he could probably ID him.

Just an update on the tamron 150-600mm vc.
This lens really is remarkable for the price. It is hands down with every penny.
I shoot wildlife and the moon With it. I even shoot people from time to time with it. I Love the about of compression it provides in an image. If your thinking about getting one, don't hesitate it is everything that a $1050 super zoom should be and more.
