    Glossy Ibis

So I was heading out today, to capture some photos of the fall foliage after work. I saw a gentle man standing near a small pond in our wet lands reserve with a large lens on a tripod.
I thought about stopping but was on a mission to get a couple photos so I passed him by.
On the way back into town i swung by the pond to see what he was stalking.
I found out it must have been this Glossy Ibis having dinner. I pulled out the gitzo and the Tammy 150-600 and headed over to get a closer look.

These are super cool, I'm really digging the iridescent color you're getting off the feathers.

Well looking at the other photos of a white faced ibis, I think you're right!

No it's a glossy. Grey legs and white facial hair. Thus seems normal for some birds.
Also the white faced ibis looks to have a very distinctive white band around the eyes.

Also the glossy is just at the edge of its normal region was as the white faced would be hundreds of miles east of its know region.
