Oh I can take pics of people, and I do for my family...its not the 'taking pics' part that I don't like, its the 'people' part

I actually really enjoy photographing people, but its the demands that stupid clients make that stop me from offering it to people. plus I don't beat around the bush, if people complain that they look fat or something I'll just tell 'em to hit the gym, I'm not going to waste my time photoshopping them to look like someone they aren't hah

Ha ha that's awesome. We took our kid to get pics done and the job they did for 90 bucks I would never complain, plus they had all the props and gave a copyright release with a CD witch is hard to get photographer to do

You sure did a good job taking pics of my truck and I'm not sure how much you photo shopped them but they looked great

photographing people's trucks is different..I didn't do much PS with them, I think I cleaned a few minor things up but it wasn't much.

Yea still photography it so much easier. People are tough because you are trying to capture a moment or a look.

'eh each subject has its difficulties, with vehicles the reflective surfaces make positioning and light sources difficult. people aren't inherently harder, but part of the problem IMO is that with people, beauty tends to be seen as the absence of anything unique, everyone wants to look flawless and fit and like a cover model, indistinguishable from any other cover model, but almost no one is like that...but with wildlife or cars, or any other non-people subject, beauty is in the unique and different. people want to see the detail in the veins of a leaf or the fur/feathers of an animal, but don't want to see the wrinkles in their own skin....at least that's my take....plus when you're shooting FOR someone else, its stops being as much of an expression of your art as it is making the client happy, which gets old really fast.
