    I need opinions.

So I can't decide what I should do next. On one hand I think I should get a prime lense but on the other hand I think I should get a processing program.

    So whats first?
Buy a low dollar prime lense?
    Buy adobe light room?
Save and buy Adobe PS CS6?
Save and buy a 35 f1.8 sigma lense?
    Please help.
    I'm leaning towards light room.

I currently use GIMP. It's free and perfect for the low level editing I do. Just another option

Gotcha. It can't read my RAW files either, but it is free haha.

if its between a low cost prime lens and lightroom, I'd probably go with lightroom personally, it'll help out a lot over trying to edit in the NX2, and it'll work with RAW files and everything.

then you can get used to processing while you're researching and saving for a prime.

I think if it's between a low dollar lens and light room, you should get light room. That will make all of your photos from all of your lenses look better, whereas if you bought the low dollar lens you would just want to get a better one in no time. Hard to say if it's between a nice sigma lens and light room though.

that sigma is like $900, so there is quite a price difference between that and LR. I vote LR now, and save for a quality prime like the sigma (or something else if a different focal length is better for you)
